Aerial Recovery Group hosted a spring training event for members of the Aerial Volunteer Corps in preparation for the upcoming 2021 hurricane season. 52 people from all over the country gathered at Montgomery State Park in Burns, TN from April 16-18 to go through emergency response training in order to prepare them for upcoming response trips during the 2021 hurricane season. Over the course of the three day event, Volunteer Corps members were taken through a number of classes including land navigation, swift water rescue, trauma response training, field medical and emergency evacuation. The Aerial Recovery Group team members, who are highly trained experts and former military special forces, ran the Volunteer Corp though these skills and assessments along with CEO Britnie Turner and trauma therapists. At the end of the weekend, all attendees received their skill level 1 certification as well as stop the bleed certification.
